I used to like this place, but I will not be returning after experiencing blatant discrimination. After waiting in line for over two hours, a barber called for the next customer in Spanish. A Hispanic man who arrived after me stepped up. I asked him if he had an appointment; he said no and even agreed it should be my turn. However, the barber ignored this, signaled the man to sit anyway, and made a comment in Spanish that made it entirely clear he refused to cut my hair. Great atmosphere and even better cuts. The barbers here always pay attention to detail and get me looking right. Would recommend to anyone
I found this barbershop a few months ago because I badly needed a haircut for the work week and it was Sunday and nobody else was open. I got the best haircut in years and the rates were very reasonable. Elly is now my go to barber, and puts me in there every 2-3 weeks!
