Why does nobody wanna work? Why am I waiting for 20 minutes for a pick up order?
I normally enjoy J. selbys but I just waiting 50 minutes to get my food. I asked if they missed my order 40 minutes in and they said the tofu fryer was slow. no communication prior to that and no real apology. UPDATE: I just ordered a community bowl for pickup and the rice is as hard as rocks. Completely inedible. I called and they were apologetic but yeesh.
Seemed okay, could only order one of two things though? so not really sure... not really what we expected from a restaurant like this 🤷 COVID was like 6 years ago guys, this kind of thing was okay back then but it’s 2026 now and you’re running a restaurant… that still runs out of food???? The only thing this business does is sell food. Dead serious- if you need a manager let me know. We went to J. Selby's for lunch, ordered our food and after waiting for an hour, we asked for a refund and left. They still hadn't started to make our food! I think that's ridiculous! If they were that busy, they should have had the decency to tell us it would take over an hour at the time we placed our order. The table of four who ordered ahead of us cancelled their order and requested a refund as well. They definitely need to improve upon their customer service.
