Embarrassed to write this but feel the need to warn single women and consumers in general who are interested in doing businesses that conduct themselves fairly. I called J & S Plumbing out to today to check what I thought was a chirping hot water tank. When the tech arrived, he listened for the chirp and told me it was not the hot water tank but the smoke alarm! Cringe!!! Just had J & S out to evaluate an intermittently chirping sound in the laundry room that I thought was the hot water heater. Much to my embarrassment, the tech told me it was not the hot water heater, but the smoke alarm that was chirping. He made a point to tell me that the hot water heater is 8 or 9 years old and it was probably time to consider replacing it. The tech was literally in my home for less than 5 minutes.
