For the price paid, I expected attention to detail and a professional finish, neither of which were delivered. Overall, the result looks unfinished and will likely require additional work to correct basic issues. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

We had J & S landscaping building the patio and walkway in our Mountain Top house. After several years, the retaining wall started to fall towards front side and geting worse each year, the patio pavers sinking, uneven. Finally, we had to pay someone else (Walko's Lanscape & nursury pointed the retaining wall was built wrong) to redo the whole retaining wall. We were told J&S did not do the job correctly. Over priced work. A lot of these local businesses over charge and this guy is no different. I had an appraisal done recently by these folks. The guy lives in a fancy house on a hill so that's where the overpriced money gets dumped into. A woman in the comments section also stated she was over charged after the work was completed. No shocker there based on the conversation I had with them. You explain to these folks on what you want completed, and they always try to add in additional costs doing a project that's unnecessary. ... read more

James and his team did a tremendous job transforming the front of our property and adding to the area of the backyard. The J&S team created a vision, developed a plan, and then delivered what they envisioned and promised. The quality of work performed was excellent and the crew was professional and respectful of the property. The crew was always willing to answer any questions and address any concerns. Quick workers and very friendly. However, I wish I was explained better my quotes especially when changes were going to be made. My quote went over 10k of what we expected completely exceeding what we were able to afford. Some items where added that I was not even able to accept before it was already done.
