I wrote the review on the 98 isuzu rodeo that is posted here. I would like to update that review n apologize to j and s auto. At the time i was upset n didnt take into account their time and materials involved. They are the best around the area n i shouldve took a breath before posting my review.

U told us it was unsafe to drive. Then we see our 98 isuzu rodeo for sale for $2499.00 in front of your shop. I spent more buying another car than i would have spent fixing that one. After.you only gave us $350 for it.

I will tell everyone not to do business here anymore. I would have paid the repair if we could have got a strait price. Cuz we ended up spending 1400.00$ on another vehicle anyway.

I'm originally from New York, and I was driving through Iowa with family of 6. We are not mechanically inclined, so we did not know what was going on when suddenly our van started smoking and died. We googled a mechanic shop off my husbands blackberry and found J & S Auto Specialists. What a find! They were so nice and helped us out when we needed it. I would recommend them to anyone who is passing through, or is a local. You definitely can't find that kind of small town service in New York!!
