I live in the north but was raised in the south and this is the most surprising thing I’ve found in New York. The sides are amazing as everything thing else. The only thing I regret was not getting some cake with it. I’m not sure what they do with the collards but they ain’t bitter and the cabbage is on point. Bottoms li e the whole dinner was straight fire

We was in the mood for some barbecue and soul food so we decided to try this place out and was not disappointed. I like the fact that their combos was straight to the point on the menu. All the sides was good that we had which was the baked macaroni and cheese, candy yams, cabbage, potato salad and jerk chicken rice which I could have did without. The ribs were well seasoned and the sauce was really good. The smoked chicken was also good. I would not say the ribs was fall off the bone ribs but I don't care for mine like that... read more

First time going to this establishment after driving past it so many times. BIG MISTAKE!! The food is out of bounds... The ribs are huge and meaty but the sides stole the show. The candied yams and collard greens are on par with "grandmas" cuisine. I am going back just for them😉

We used JRibs to cater a community event today and were blown away by the service and the food . First, they are closed on Sundays and agreed to cater the event regardless! Second, every single person we served a plate of food too either stopped in the line to take a bite and gasp about how good it was or came back to ask- “can you get this again? it’s the best food I have had in years!” For both business and personal- I highly recommend this place!!!
