Dr. Adams has been a great physician and even helped get me through a family crisis I had recently. He listened with care and concern and offered valuable advice and suggestions on how I could deal with the events happening in my life. I will always be so grateful for his help in seeing me through this troubling time.
I'm in my mid-20s and female. I have had asthma most of my life and the Alabama climate is anything but kind to asthmatics, especially if you aren't from AL.I explained to him that I was out of my inhaler and I needed to get an at-home nebulizer because I did not want to have to keep going to the ER for breathing treatments when I feel an episode coming on or if I'm mid-attack.He completely disregarded ALL of it and stated he wasn't too concerned about it because of my AGE and that my chest didn't sound bad AT THAT TIME. I’m a younger (20F) patient of Dr. Adams. He is the most condescending, non helpful doctor I have encountered. I went for a check up and if I suggested something was bothering me he acted like I was stupid, delusional, and crazy. He also was asking me when I was going to get a “real” job since the one I have (bartending) isn’t as impressive as he was hoping for. I have been a patient of Dr. Woods for 5 years. I have loved him from the start. He listens to me and doesn't interrupt, he answers all my questions. He gets down to the root of the problem. I have brought him new patients who also love him. He is a great man and doctor.
