Two of my sons and I were students for a brief time at this dojo about 8 years ago. I bought Hanshi’s books, and we still practice those things that he taught us at home. He is a good teacher, and I give much respect to him, and hope Hanshi is well. God bless.

Great class selection, knowledgeable instructor.
I just read the Josh review of the Family Self Defense Center... and after attending classes (most Saturdays) for the past 5 years I will have to formally disagree with the reviewers (Josh) assessment of the instructor and the classes he provides. I have visited a number of schools since I was in my 20s (now 54) and although most of the institutions I have visited offered some sound practical self-defense… not all did.
