I love that there's a total dive bar in uptight, old money Clayton. Staff is down to earth, the patrons don't get too drunk. Drinks are reasonably priced. If you're in Clayton and want a drink without worrying about who is listening to your conversation, this is the place to go.
We came across this place while in the area for a tournament. It was a beautiful day, so we ate outside. The bar had maybe 10 people inside watching basketball games but it wasn't crowded. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food our group had was very good. I ordered a bison burger with Swiss, sautéed mushrooms and onions with chili as my side. The chili has a kick but was excellent!
Still a perfect little watering hole! Rick and folks are just so nice here Such a great neighborhood pub. Just the best!
Loved my meal very friendly bartender working today ! Food came out quick and was delicious I will most definitely be back. Nice and chill in here also.
