Without exaggeration, Dr. Smith saved my life and gave me a second chance with a valve replacement 8 months ago. I was out and walking miles on my own within a week and a half after surgery, and now less than a year later I'm comfortably running multiple 10ks weekly. Dr. Smith was a resident at Good Samaritan hospital when my husband had his third heart valve surgery. Dr. Smith was studying that day and was called in to assist and was saved by Dr. Smith that day. My experience from the moment of introduction to release of care to my cardiologist was exceptional. Upon introduction, he answered all my questions with patience. I had surgery on August 8th and today I feel really good with consideration given to the limited period of time lapsed from surgery date.
