so i dont know anything about cars and thought i could trust the reviews on this place. my car had a scary wobble at high speeds so i took it to J&m auto first john was very rude and just angry the entire time checking the car then stated i needed no ball joints for the front and it would take 2 days and $1700 me not knowing agreed as i have to have the car to get back and forth to work. i pick up the vehicle pay my bill which ended up being $1932.17 because of extra parts the noticed being bad when doing the work. reluctant... read more
I took my car here because there was an oil leaking from the head gasket that was going to my alternator causing my alternator to break down and not start my car. I have a 2010 honda accord and I also went to different car shops to get an estimate and to show me the problem. Other car shops tell me different things that need to be done that is not part of the problem and would give me a high price to get everything fixed. Had a problem they couldn't fix. but took time to get an estimate on the parts and labor so i wouldn't get ripped off at the next guy. honest and dependable.... don't see that to much anymore. thanks really,thanks. so if you are in need of basic repairs, give J and M a try
We moved to Port Orange 23 years ago and I was lucky enough to have John recommended to me. He does all our auto work, period! Outstanding technical knowledge and a friendly guy as well. He has even corrected problems we have had when someone works on our car on one of our frequent trips.
John has been working on my vehicles, as well as my Mom's for the last 20 years. I've been in the auto business most of my life, I know what most jobs cost and his prices have always been very fair. He's a trustworthy, genuine good person. He just did shocks, brakes and CV axle on my Lexus and was way less money than I was quoted elsewhere, did the job expeditiously and correctly. I send all my friends to J&M. A truly honest mechanic!
