Get a written estimate I went here once for a catalytic converter replacement. He gave me an estimate that I wrote on the back of his business card. It was a couple hundred cheaper than anywhere else I went. When I went to pick up the car, they wanted a couple hundred more than the estimate. They told me I must have wrote it down wrong. I think they made a mistake and gave me an estimate for a cheaper model than I had. The work was done well, but make sure you get the estimate in writing and the total price is clear.

Great Service I have been coming to LaRue's for 25 years. I have always gotten courteous service. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I know that when I bring my car to LaRue's it will be fixed correctly and at a fair price.
Bad experience Recently went to this so called local shop. Well let me tell you how un-proffesional and rude this place is. The owner John has a huge attitude. My wife broke down with my son. She was looking for help. The lady at the front counter should not be talking to the public. After all that the car was checked out and fixed. The price was almost 40% more than the dealer. He used cheap parts ( the same part failed one week later) When I called to find out if he had a warranty I got yelled at and was told "you are a pa... read more
