We had a wonderful time kayaking to Waites Island. Our guide, Justin, was so knowledgeable about the wildlife and the area. We felt safe and we highly recommend this company. We have kayaked with them for many years in a row now. This is the only company we would use for kayaking in the Myrtle Beach area.
We had a fabulous day with Justin kayaking to Waites Island. We had two beginners in our group and he ensured they received the orientation they needed and definitely made them feel comfortable and confident. Justin is very knowledgeable about the marsh ecosystem and its inhabitants. We would definitely recommend J&L and will return next time we kayak in the Myrtle Beach area.
Justin is a top notch guide! The trip was seamless from start to finish. We all had a wonderful time and learned a lot. This is a must do if you’re in the area and looking for a diversion from the usual Myrtle Beach activities.
Went out to Waites Island with a group of fellow kayaking enthusiasts. I had gone solo before but it is much better with a group. Justin, the guide, is very friendly and knowledgable. Cost is quite reasonable especially when you consider you don’t have to pay $20 to park at the launch site. No guesswork involved in when to leave of come back. Decent kayaks and life vests provided.
