I used my AAA membership for a towing service and they dispatched JL Automotive & Towing. Once they arrived, they insisted I pay them directly for “tolls.” I did so, but afterward I researched the actual toll amounts and realized they had grossly exaggerated the charges. When I politely contacted them multiple times requesting documentation or proof of the tolls, they were extremely rude, nasty, and completely refused to provide any receipts or evidence. Towed my 2023 BMW M3 and damaged it due to improperly securing the vehicle. The straps damaged the front bumper. Talked to them about covering the damages, they agreed and then I got quotes and sent it to them and they refused to pay it. They are now ignoring me. EDIT: Had to get AAA involved and they are now in communication as I had to directly go behind them and reach out to their insurance company. Will update again when it gets resolved.
As usual was able to get a appointment that I found to reasonable. My description of my problem was evaluated. After checking out my vehicle,the problem was explained to me in a clear professional manner. The work was done in a timely manner. And equally important the billing was fair.
Excellent service and pricing. I found a screw in one of my tires. I called the shop on Monday and the team was able to work on my car the next day. It was an easy patch/repair job, and I was in and out of the lobby within 25 minutes. I will return to this shop for more of my car care needs.
