It’s especially challenging to find a reliable mechanic in the hi-desert. Thank god there’s J&K Automotive. Josh has been consistently reliable and does great work from repairs to fabrication.
First my appointment They scheduled for me was canceled, even after I called to confirm that am for the afternoon appointment. Paid $800 for front brakes plus $40 service charge. Called again for another service repair, unrelated to the first repair, only to be ignored. I guess my $840 wasn't good enough to have a repeat customer.
Josh saved the day! I had suspension troubles while on vacation in J Tree. Another mechanic I first hired mis-diagnosed the issue, but Josh quickly identified the problem, corrected the other mechanics work, and charged a very fair price. I wish he was in my home town as he’d be my goto mechanic for all my vehicles.
I will definitely call these people first, and highly recommend. Very knowledgeable about specifics upon arrival. (They ask the right questions so that when they arrive they are prepared to deal with your specific vehicle and issue.) Prompt, great work that has held up really well. Professional and easy all around. A+
