I highly DO NOT recommend, she has had mine, my son's and my friends taxes for over 6 months with no responses to our calls, in the end I had to threaten to show up with the police to get her to respond and she did not complete my taxes, this is the second year she's done this and I gave her the benefit of doubt thinking there's no way she would do it again but I was sadly mistaken, very unprofessional and would not refer my dog to her.
She is very unprofessional has been withholding mine and my son's taxes for 6 months now and not returning our phone calls, at this point its time to take legal action.
Absolutely the worst person I have paid to do my taxes. Two years and she still has not solve the issue that she created with my federal taxes. I would not recommend her to do your taxes unless you want some one that will NOT call you back and when you do get ahold of her you will every reason why she hadn't done a dam thing to resolve any issue. Becareful of this lady you will regret paying her to do your taxes..
I was suggestes to J&K about 3 yrs ago. She does a wonderful job and is very personable. She gets me everything I have coming back in my returns and more than the cooperate accounting places by far! Never had any backlash that she did something wrong. She knows her stuff. I recommend her to all!
Like many of the others here, ive had my taxes messed up. The first few years no issues. The very first thing I asked was if Kathy was familiar with out of state taxes. She claimed she was. I’m prior military and sold a house in tax year 2021, gave Kathy my 1099-S that year reporting the sale. She did nothing with it. I didn’t find that out til I started getting letters from the California FTB saying I needed to file a return and owed money.
