Update 2: After my current interaction with the owners about my first update, I decided they're not very easy to deal with. I really hoped we could've came to a solution to my issues and maybe continued business. I wasn't asking for deals or extended warranties. I just wanted to know what converter might work best with me setup. What I got was blame game on why their 3 converters failed on me. Maybe it was my fault, maybe it was bad choice in specs. Update: I've now gone through 3 j&k converters. 2 completely shrapnelled my built transmissions. 1 completely locked up. Theyre still wonderful people. Maybe i have the worst luck ever, but I'll be trying a different company for the next and hopefully last one. I got a 2500 stall converter for my 80 firebird from j&k and it works perfectly. The service was spectacular. They even showed me the shop when I went to pick it up. Pretty amazing to deal with.
