No one could ask for any finer surgeon for joint replacement. Dr. Joseph Gholson and his staff are truly the finest found anywhere. I left my home at 7am and returned home at 7pm that evening with a complete new hip and mine was not an easy hip to redo. I had a total hip replacement (anterior approach) in November of 2019. Dr. Joseph Gholson was my surgeon. My experience with Dr. Gholson was, from start to finish, most pleasant and comfortable. Dr.Gholson is an amazing doctor. After consulting with four different surgeons about repairing my right knee which had healed incorrectly after previously breaking my tibia and my fibula, Dr. Gholson told me that he could take care of it. He made me understand that it would never be 100%, but that he was certain that he could improve my knee to 60%. That sounded great, since I hadn't been able to walk for a year and a half. Dr. Gholson replaced my hip last October. The surgery went well and there were no complications. I walked with a walker the morning after surgery and was walking independently and driving by two weeks post-op. This past weekend (at twelve weeks) I went downhill skiing! Dr. Gholson is a highly talented and personable surgeon and I am grateful for what he did for me. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Gholson is an awesome surgeon. I had a total knee replacement 3 weeks ago and I am already walking on it without any crutches or a cane. I would totally recommend Dr. Gholson if you need a total knee replacement, or even a partial.
