I've been going to this J & H sewing store for over a decade now (probably almost 2) and have bought many machines from vacuums to sewing machines. I won't buy from anywhere else and firmly believe in supporting local. Helen and her staff have always been friendly and helpful to me. I highly recommend you check them out.

First off I would like to say that I feel as though I was mistreated for the fact that I am a young woman with 2 children and an old machine, not an older woman with the newest equipment. When I brought my “irreparable” serger home from J&H, my husband and I decided we would take the time to see if we could repair my serger ourselves. My wife dropped off her serger to be serviced. Her machine functioned and made a chain but wouldn’t work properly when she ran fabric through it. She wanted that repaired, and an overall service. When my wife dropped her serger off Hellen tried forcing the front cover open, my wife stopped her and showed her how to open it gently. She almost left then but really wanted her serger repaired for a project she already had material cut out for.
