Initially I had a great experience with Jeff. He came out measured our cabinets came back a short time later and put on our new countertop. Unfortunately we developed a crack because of the hot Crock-Pot. Called for him to come out and fix it and he said it would be $25 an hour. I said okay. He came out looked at it, assessed it and said he would have to make a jig and I said okay. He left and never came back. Never called. Nothing. I texted him and received no response. I had a terrible experience with another company via Lowes and was panicking because I needed countertops after being months without counters or a sink. We called J&D and they were first and foremost extremely pleasant and caring. They were out to my house within an hour for the template, they had the same material and style and were able to quickly get it, and had the countertops beautifully installed within the week. (Granted I'm not sure if we got them at a quiet time of year, but the other company had dragged the process... read more
