I've had deeply embedded tonsil stones in both tonsils for over 15 years. 10 years ago, an ENT agreed to remove my tonsils but said, "The recovery is brutal. If you can live with your tonsils the way they are, I recommend that you do." I took his advice and chose not to do surgery. Excellent support staff I had my time wrong but I was accommodated very quickly despite my error. Dr T is very efficient and straightforward, no time is wasted, and he is very pleasant, answered all my questions.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Dr. J.C. Di Toppa, and I would not recommend him based on my experience. I went to see him because I was experiencing pain inside my ear, throat/larynx pain, a noticeable change in my voice, and enlargement/swelling in the larynx area. My main concern was the pain and the changes in my throat and voice—not hearing loss. Despite explaining my symptoms, I felt that he did not listen to my concerns at all. I lost about 10% of my hearing in one ear all of a sudden and was referred here by another doctor. Prior to coming I wrote down a history of other minor problems that I thought might be related only for the doctor to refuse to read it, claiming medical history wasn't very important and that the exam would tell him everything he needed to know. After a long wait to see him, he dismissed all my concerns, rushed through the appointment and told me 5 times in a 15 minute appointment that I needed to lose weight. He didn't bother asking what I was already doing to lose it, and having just found out I have insulin resistance it honestly stings more thinking back on the experience. I do not recommend seeing him, and will be cancelling my follow up appointment.
