I called ahead to get a price for a basic watch battery. The person answering the phone said it would be around $12, which sounded reasonable. However, in person, he charged me $27 for the battery. There is nothing special about the battery and the watch itself is by no means fancy. Highway robbery. Won't be back.
I've been using this company for over 20 years. I started taking my jewelry for repair and watches for service and batteries to J&C when they were in the Mall of Orange, and I have continued to take my jewelry and watches to them in their new location on Lincoln Ave. Their work is excellent and prompt. Their prices are very competitive. I will continue using their services as I'm very happy with the results.
Joe is the best jeweler I have ever met. He takes pride in his work and it shows greatly! I have been going to him for years now, he has cleaned jewelry, fixed my watches and several jewelry items. I have also received a custom watch created by him that is spectacular! He is incredibly talented, kind personable with everyone he encounters. Super fast, kind, and attentive service! I came in to get links removed and a new battery and was out within 10 minutes. The store is beautiful, there’s so much to see. Definitely bringing more watches here!
