While I have not used Gary as a contractor I know him intimately as his land lord and as a renter he is completely untrust worthy. Based on that relation ship where he now has me stuck for the last 7 months with several $1000 from several years ago I would not trust him to do 50 cent jobs with your $.As to the workmanship check the other reviews here for that input which I will be csuprised if if it it is found as being good. Very poor quality work in general. They did not sand trimmed edges of wood, things are not lined up properly, caulking was not complete, paint job was horrible, some pieces are missing and it was simply not well done, especially for someone who calls himself a perfectionist! Materials were included in the estimate but I went with him to Home Depot and paid for the wood trim myself. I accidentally paid for it again when I paid him and he refused to reimburse me. He and his crew smoked in my renovated space over and over after repeated discussions, then lied about it. Once the snow melted I could see they used my yard as an ashtray all winter long. On top of that he never keeps a deadline and tried to double charge me for materials. Beware
Horrible. Hired to do a drywall project, he farmed it out to a group of guys who never showed up on time, worked partial days, were messy and sloppy. Tried repeatedly to get him to commit to deadlines with no success. Project took more than 8 weeks instead of less than 2 weeks, the finishing is terrible and the guys didn't clean up at all, left the place a huge dusty mess, no way it was paint-ready.
