Difficult Customer Christmas Eve I was there Christmas Eve and the reason the employees did not give Rhonda L. the boxes is because we had just used the last two for another customer. Rhonda took over an hour to make up her mind with a store full of customers and J. Barton employees gave her their full attention. She then complained about the Brighton tins and could not make up her mind if she wanted them or not. Runway Ready! Tired of the usual mass produced garments from the local shops? Want to feel stylish, unique and beautiful in clothes that are up to date and star worthy? RUN to J Barton! This place is a treasure in Katy. The staff have always been very pleasant and helpful in pulling together awesome outfits. Personally, I feel like I have my own stylist when I go there, but I haven't been on a weekend, so this may not be true on a Saturday. Faithful Customer going on 15 years now I have been shopping at J Barton going on 15 years, maybe even a little longer than that. I shopped with them when they were over off the SW Freeway and when they were off Mason. Jenny, Amanda and All the Sales Ladies who have ever waited on me, have always been super helpful to me. Great Service I went into J Barton to look for a special outfit and had my 2 daughters with me. I thought they would have trouble helping me with the kids and was very pleasantly surprised. I was there on a busy Saturday, but I was able to try on many different outfits, have help finding matching accessories and my kids were able to help and felt very welcomed.
Cranky clerks on Christmas Eve My sisters and I discovered this store last fall and have purchased several high-end items from them with the utmost professionalism. However, after encountering Diana and Jenny around 3:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve 2008, we realized that we had encountered some rather "unhappy elves." Watch Out..You are NOT THEIR CLIENTIELE This store made it VERY clear they do not appreciate customers who do not fit their clientele....that would be " White-American Soccer Moms"...they refused service to a group of mixed races and financial status....The one at La Centerra Shopping Center....
