What a terrible experience. I told him he was the most obnoxious person I had ever meet.
Very angry man , he was very hateful to me upon trying to make payments on many occasions. In general a horrible encounter with the entire office . If you are looking for a professional environment I don’t suggest at all . Certain people have an attitude that they just want to get your money and don’t care about the relationship with a consumer and that’s all I felt with this office . Mr. Rixey was my attorney for a military divorce as well as a criminal charge he provided evidence was a lie. I highly recommend this modern day Matlock. He listened to what I wanted done, but cared enough to be upfront and honest about what he believed would be best. He was not just a yes man to get money. He communicated through a phone call or email promptly, and was available through my emergencies. He worked with me on payment and gave grace in good faith. Absolutely the worst legal representation you’ll find in Virginia Beach. Barbour Rixey lacks communication, and professionalism. He was retained by my soon to be ex husband and made a fool of himself and his own client. I was court ordered to deliver items to Mr Rixey’s office, that belong to my spouse. I have emails trying to coordinate an appropriate day and time to do this, and was never responded to.
