This guy is the definition of shady lawyer, run away from this guy, you’re better off with a public defender. Horrible communication, not to mention he flat out didn’t show up to my court appearance. The judge was basically lecturing me because I didn’t know where he was. How the heck am I supposed to know where my lawyer is? Made me look like a total idiot. I had to take work off to go to court which ended up being rescheduled due to his absence. Couldn’t reach him on the phone until he calls me back a couple hours after ap... read more

The plus side is that he ended up refunding my payment, so in the end I'm not out anything but some time and stress. There were several things that contributed to this, largely communication-related. He had promised to get me paperwork about the case, and request the officer's notes, and I also seem to recall that he had said he was going to file an appearance.
