I wouldn’t recommend using J&R Landscaping and Nursery for anything. This is the result of a complete re-sod of our back lawn. They installed new sod then killed it after they came a few weeks later and sprayed for weeds. They noted that the backyard sod that they installed had a lot of weeds and the spray killed all the weeds, leaving barely any grass. J&R initially offered a refund for the grass pallets or to re-do for free. We requested a refund and now the owner says he never agreed to a refund. Zero integrity. Nothing b... read more

Very happy with the lawn maintenance service.
Very disappointed with J&R Landscaping. I clearly requested that 1–2 inches of grass and soil be removed, fresh soil added, and the yard leveled before sod was installed. The workers who showed up seemed unaware of that plan, and I was later told their “normal” process is just to weed-whack the grass down and lay soil and sod on top, which is not what I asked for. The job also lacked professionalism. One worker spent a lot of time on his phone. I don't think the job would have been completed if it wasn't for the other worker... read more
