I’ve had a lot done at J&L and the majority of the time multiple trips are required. They’ll “fix” the problem and charge hundreds of dollars only to have the problem or be fixed. When I go back they say they fixed the problem but there’s more to do. The most recent was $1800 for AC repair and replacement. When I got the car back it made weird noises and was super underpowered. When my wife took it back they said it had an exhaust leak and they wouldn’t be able to track it down until it got worse. These guys are pretty legit. After a botched brake job by the "leading" and "highest rated" mobile brake service company, they were able to diagnose the issue and fix it quickly. Are they the cheapest, probably not, but they are thorough and know their stuff!

No mechanic is perfect, but J&L has taken care of our service needs for years. We trust them and appreciate their honest work. Of course, they will suggest service items they see may need attention -- I'm lucky enough to know cars well and I can take care of a lot of maintenance myself. J&L does the rest and they do everything we've asked them to do with integrity and skill.

I’m not happy with them at all. I have always taken my vehicles into them but this last time they nickel and dime me for everything. I was informed by one of their employees that a charge would only be $50 after spend several hundred with them already and sure enough I see it is for a higher amount of $83. They didn’t honor their word and so I’m no longer going back to their location or recommending them to anyone. Not a great way to keep long standing customers with your company.
