My fiancé and I made a special trip out to CDA from Seattle to take engagement pictures and celebrate our engagement on a sunset cruise, so I spent DAYS even WEEKS trying to find someone to do my hair and makeup. I wasn’t having any luck finding places that were open on Mondays and then I found Joanie. She was willing to travel to me from another city. She was so kind, helpful, and skilled. I love what she did for me, and I felt really pretty celebrating something so special. She truly saved the day!

Joanie always knows how to get the color or the hair style that I'm looking for. She is kind, thoughtful about the products she uses, and mindful about my needs. I was nervous about cutting off 6" but she saw the vision and knew it would be a good for my face shape and hair health. I feel like a new woman!

I had an amazing experience with Joanie! She is truly a master at her craft. She takes the time to really understand what you're looking for, ensuring you're both on the same page. Her studio is beautiful, and she creates such a luxurious experience. On top of that, she’s just the sweetest, most down-to-earth person. It felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue. I saw Joanie a while back, but you know how hard it is to switch hairstylists when you've been going to the same one for so long. So, when my teen started asking to get her hair done, I let her be the test. Joanie is unbelievably sweet and amazing with her. She helps her figure out what she wants while also ensuring it's done in a way that maintains the health of her hair. After just one appointment, I decided it was worth making the switch for myself too. I haven't regretted that decision since.... read more
