A unique and “off brand” experience when one thinks about traditional Santa Fe food. It is within a beautiful oasis. Met my husband after a spa treatment and the whole experience was tranquil. Very casual attire welcomed in an upscale locale. Dog friendly patio. Fun experiences with tapas like sharing. All items are family style. Beautiful sake presentation, sushi rolls amazing, tempura dishes small and delicious.
The Best Seat in the House If you have the chance, I highly recommend walking in and snagging a spot at the outdoor bar. My boyfriend and I often go to restaurants in Santa Fe and this is the one that we continue to return to since moving here. We have always had very pleasant experiences at Izanami, recommending it to pretty much everyone we come across. My wife and I were visiting from out of state. We enjoyed dinner here, but left feeling duped / taken advantage of regarding the alcohol we ordered. We enjoyed the restaurant, and thought the food portions and price were appropriate. Everything was tasty. However, we are unhappy about our experience with the alcohol that was suggested to us.
