We celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner here after a day at Ten Thousand Waves. Luke provided us with excellent suggestions for food and beverages (we knew nothing about sake and he guided us to two different choices that complimented the sea bass beautifully.) He was very knowledgeable and was willing to share his expertise with us. The roasted beet salad was fabulous!
My boyfriend made a reservation for my birthday. It was a great experience, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere is incredible. (2024) Edit: I have to adjust my review I made a reservation online for my 30th birthday to be on my birthday this year (2025) and made sure to mark the occasion on the online reservation form. The setting is very unique for Santa Fe. Parking is a bit of an issue. Food was very good.
We went for my friend’s 50th birthday as a group of 7. The architecture is stunning and the grounds seemed immaculate. The first sign of less than great service was the server telling us they would not do separate checks. Ok, would be nice but not the end of the world. My story is that most POS systems now would make that easy for the servers and the clients but again ok. The ordering process was odd. After enjoying the spa services at 10,000 Waves, we stopped for lunch at Izanami. It's a beautiful restaurant with excellent food and a very extensive Sake menu but what made it special what the excellent service we received from our waitress, Jenny. She walked us through some choices, that sake menu could have been overwhelming. She was friendly and very knowledgeable. She made our lunch very special.
