First time I've used a Fitness center in my long life and all the equipment struck me as quite intimidating at first at first sight. But thanks to your friendly staff and clientele, and a very knowledgeable trainer, Natasha, I have been guided into a well-rounded personal fitness program that I am enjoying. And with so many equipment options, I never have to wait for something to open up!
Ok neighborhood fitness center, one of three in the area. I would rate it as number two of the three. Basic set of equipment. Nice sweet of free weights. Great common room with pads and ropes. adjacent to ivy physical therapy. So, great place if you are involved in PT. Also, they participate in the Silver Sneakers program. Good if you're a senior. But this might be a disadvantage if you want to use equipment in a timely fashion.
I really, really L♥️VE the classes and the instructors. I never get bored with the routines. The instructors are very knowledgeable about what we as seniors need to practice and improve on. They are very competent and really want to help us to improve on our health! There’s a good mix of classes and times.
Very nice little local gym. My wife and I use it for weight lifting and strength and fitness training. It’s a pretty good array of equipment for a small gym with all of the basics. This is a small community so we also like the fact that we see new and old friends there. The previous owners had a pool but it apparently is unusable now and not sure what will happen with that. It would be great if they got it up and running again!
The therapists and supportive staff are outstanding. I’ve been a patient of Kushal Patel for the last three months, following total knee replacement. He, along with the other therapists, are very knowledgeable and work hard to improve your quality of life. Going to PT is actually enjoyable even though it is very hard work and can be uncomfortable. Ivy Rehab at Lake Monticello is a very positive, upbeat place. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs physical therapy. Julie Dwyer
