There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Ivy Kids of Cypress Creek Lakes is. The staff is incredibly caring, accommodating, and kind. Our daughter attended their Bridge program and learned how to read and write with her wonderful teachers Miss Alma and Miss Devanny. She loved coming to school every day and consistently wanted to stay longer. I genuinely wanted to have a positive impression of Ivy. Given the very difficult experience our family had at a previous school, it was incredibly important to us to find an environment that felt safe, supportive, and emotionally attuned to our child’s needs. Because of the harm caused by a teacher at his former school, our son now experiences significant anxiety around new teachers. 🚨Exercise Extreme Caution 🚨 We brought our child in for a Discovery Day, and the experience was deeply upsetting. During those three hours, he was verbally mistreated by teachers. Among other things, he was told that his “mom is not important” and “I don’t want to hear about your mom again.” He was also made to sit in the “quiet corner” even after he had stopped crying and explained that he was ready to rejoin the class.
