For over a century patrons have found comfort in this historic building nestled in the heights of the Meadowlands, presently home to Ivy Inn. Opened in the 1870’s as a stagecoach inn, travelers in horse and carriage along Polifly Road (later named Terrace Avenue) stopped here to eat and drink in the tavern below and sleep in one of six guest quarters above. The food and atmosphere is always nice and cozy here. The drinks and food are honestly what keeps me coming back. The history is cool and it gives off prohibition vibes. The head of staff is always so accommodating and you can tell she works hard for the restaurant.
Excellent food, service and ambiance. I definitely recommend this place! Amanda was so sweet and kind too. In the warmer months the patio with the lights and bamboo is so nice.
