From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable. The residents and the staff were always smiling and engaging. Lisa Sordi, the Sales Director stayed in touch and let us make the decision on our timeline, not hers, and truly had Mom’s best interest at heart even though Mom was reluctant to move out of her home. Lisa presented the property and services of Ivy Gables so well. She actively listened to the needs of my father and explained how Ivy would meet those. The property is decorated very nicely and there were many little touches throughout that made it feel like a home.
Ivy Gables is one of the nicest Senior Places in Delaware! All of the folks who work there are top notch and offer great care to the residents. It sits in a quiet, wooded area of Delaware that's so very peaceful and so well taken care of inside and out!
As an outside healthcare provider, Ivy Gables is such a gem to work with. It is tucked away in the beautiful community of Arden, and the building is adorable and charming. It has a more home-like feel than some of the other senior living communities, and the staff is wonderful. Everyone is always so kind, pleasant, and willing to help. The residents always seem to be engaged in activities and well cared for. I recommend Ivy Gables for families looking for a senior living for their loved ones.
Whenever I first perform at a senior living community, I always look for one thing - smiles. A smiling face tells me that even after I depart, life is good for these seniors, and this certainly holds true at Ivy Gables.
