I took my 05 plate Audi A3 to IVS following a recommendation from my current garage. I had the engine warning light repeatedly coming on and the car had been repeatedly scanned for several years and the fault wasn't found or the light permanently cleared. However, IVS scanned and fixed the fault the same day and even adjusted the original quote even cheaper. As a result my engine light is now off and I'm so pleased. Honest straight forward advice. Mark was helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable. He investigated a problem I was having with my gearbox. He eventually diagnosed no problem but clearly explained why this was the case getting the car up on the ramp to show me the condition of my car and set my mind at ease. Fantastic garage would definitely use again.

I booked my car into ivs which another garage told me I needed rear brake caliper disc and pads.when Mark looked at my Vauxhall golf not needed how refreshing to see a garage being honest and not just doing the work.i am so impressed and that ivs is honest reliable friendly.and so professional. I am happy I am telling everybody about ivs I would not hesitate to recommend them.what a contrast that there are still shady garages happy just to tell you what your car does not need. For over a year, I have been at my wits end in diagnosing a pesky suspension problem on my VW Golf - despite replenishing the entire suspension set up. Consulted various garages to remedy the issue, including well-established VW specialists in West Yorkshire who have a larger presence than IVS (but won't name and shame them). Ivs I buy far the best VW specialist I’ve come across the team go out of their way to Offer an honest and efficient service at reasonable prices. I recently had an emergency where i needed some work doing and the team bent over backward to get the work done and get the car out of the garage ready for me to get on my way thanks
