Dr. Benjamin diagnosed my wife with Ovarian cancer. His treatment to battle the cancer was 5 chemotherapy infusions. This would be my wife's second time going through chemo. This time would be more aggressive. The first infusion went well with no side affects. However, the second infusion she had an allergic reaction to carboplatin. Dr Benjamin was present, he recommended inpatient carboplatin desensitization infusion of carboplatin and paclitaxel in the hospital.
