Ivana is a really wonderful person and a highly skilled therapist, words cannot describe the appreciation and respect I have for her. She has helped me to transform my life and has given me the tools to continue to evolve, I could not recommend her enough.
Ivana is very professional which I appreciate. If you just want a friend who agrees with you all the time that you just have an expensive chat with, Ivana probably isn't a good fit. Trauma therapy means the hard stuff has to be explored and she makes it very clear up front she cannot treat physical problems that require psychiatry or another specialist. Took me a long time to write this. This therapist was someone I was seeing to deal with childhood abuse and childhood sexual abuse and the trauma from that. Everything was mostly OK, the building was not very accessible and I was using a walker (now a wheelchair) and the sessions were expensive, so I blamed myself for a lot of the problems. She would issue me painful emotional homework to do...like naming my abusers by writing them down. Ivana has been so helpful for me. After one session I was able to go home and implement one of her techniques on a problem that had been driving me crazy for years. It really changed my life for the better. Her style is warm and direct and it really suits me. I definitely recommend Ivana Borrett.
