The only good thing about IU Health Bloomington OBGYN is Dr. Weiler. Unless your appointment is with her, cancel it. I started out seeing gynecologists here and felt extremely judged for the few minutes the doctors do spend in the room. Then, when I had my pregnancy, I often had delayed appointments because they did not have availability. The office should have known this and helped me to book additional appointments, but they did not until I asked specifically to book more of my appointments ahead of time. First doctor to take me completely seriously and the nurses/female staff are WONDERFUL, but my actual doctor ended up telling me it was essentially my fault for having a miscarriage because I didn't take birth control (I didn't want/need to..) and then guilted me for several minutes on how it could've prevented miscarriage and the whole pregnancy so just don't let the doctors push you around

I'd find somewhere else that isn't associated with IU. Maybe they have too many patients to adequately help people to the best of their ability. The wait times are also ridiculous. On another occasion I checked in and the front desk peo... read more

ABOUT DR. COOK AND RECEPTION. They treated me like I was nothing. I was so scared for the worst happening because I had started bleeding a week before my appointment.. the receptionist was awful and rude with my questions and then I saw Dr. Cook who wanted a med student in the room to tell me I had a miscarriage while he sat and swiveled in his chair. I will never forget the face and mannerisms, and how dare you. I am not a show pig to let you see how grief works, hire an actor next time instead of using real people.
