I have a history of gynecological problems that are getting more severe, and they won't get me in for 5 months! To start, I only got as far as the receptionist so I cannot comment on the clinic staff, but there was absolutely no compassion. I moved up here after living in the same rural area, where the closest hospital to me was 30 minutes (and we were in town). You will wait for hours to get labs, ultrasound, or to see the providers. However they will cancel you if you are 15 mins late. They are very cold and don’t seem to care to educate or relieve anxiety of the mother. The provider was kind when we finally were able to see her, everyone else was so rude and cold. They do not care, it’s truly not to provide better outcomes, prevent risks, and encourage healthy pregnancy. It’s completely a money game.
I was on time for the actual appointment time, but because I didn’t arrive early due to morning sickness, they said they had to reschedule me and wouldn’t even try to accommodate me because I got sick. She was trying to tell me that because I didn’t get there early that it was going to be 30 minutes before I could be brought back between getting checked in, filling out paperwork, and peeing. I had a tubal ligation with cautery today and Dr. Cook was the doctor that did the procedure. ALL the staff and doctors was great! They was so nice, with me having medical anxiety they made sure I was comfortable and safe. This was my first ever surgery and I couldn’t have had a better team! Will definitely recommend to friends nd family if they want something like this to have Dr. Cook. He is so amazing! Thank you so much Dr cook 🩵
