Came in after MVA on 9/2. After an hour in the waiting room, none of the patients in front of me had been called back and no one had triaged me. It became obvious it Was going to be hours before getting treated and i was miserable. So i left and went home, then saw my dr early the next morning for actual care.
the best ER experience i have ever had! staff is very compassionate and friendly. i have had several bad experiences with other hospitals and now i will only go to IU. i’m now home resting with my emotional support cat!
Please choose another location if you have emergent elevated BP or chest pain. I was in the ER after being sent by Urgent Care and did not receive attention for at least two hours. I met one "floating" clinician who was friendly and caring. I am sad to say that the rest were not thrilled to be working there. I was released only to have to return the next day. I gave a 0 rating because I went in due to a shot your nurse administered on June 18th. My entire left thigh from my knee to my groin has been numb immediately afterwards. The nurse assured me to numbness would subside. It did not. Now my leg is even numb on the back and I have a mass the size of my hand on my thigh. It is painful to walk or touch it. I was brought in by ambulance. I was immediately treated for the symptoms I had. I was also then evaluated very thoroughly for the root causes. Kind, pleasant friendly staff that treated me with good humor and respect
