Long wait absolutely ridiculous no haste in an emergency room I don’t know how this place is still opened place needs knocked down and everyone needs to be fired.
A really great experience at the IUH Saxony emergency room. I came in in the most discomfort I have ever felt due to a kidney infection! The triage nurses were polite and quick, was brought back quickly. I know this varies on the time of day that you come in as the afternoons are always busier.) my nurse Austin was great very communicative. Very compassionate. I have been to IU Saxony er several times in the past and the registratuon/ nursing/doctors have been great. I went last night and after being taken back to the room and blood drawn, etc no one came back into the room for 2 1/2 hours and when they did it was only to draw more blood. After over 3 hours the doctor came in, regretfully I was very angry. Ultimately my concerns were dismissed and an order for an ultrasound for a later date was placed.
