The doctors and office staff are awesome. However IUHealth as an organization does not care about their patients or doctors and it is impossible to get quality care due to this. OBGYNs are being forced to only treat in-patient if they want to deliver babies and not treat patients in the office. IUHealth does not care about the doctor patient relationships. I have been a patient here for over 15 years. Always was treated with respect and by professional staff. A couple of years ago I was transferred to Dr. Gomez and he is a great doctor. But, today March 12 I was kicked out and yelled by Dr. Gomez’s nurse LIZ FALDET - I came in with physical pain and had to leave with emotional distress- this woman is definitely in the wrong profession- and as an IU Health employee myself - I know for a fact those are not the values we provide to our patients. Went to the same doctor for years and loved her. I was assigned a new one after she retired. At our first appt I told her I was getting concerned that my period was getting debilitatingly painful and heavy and was worried about an issue or being early perimenopausal. She told me I could just take some ibuprofen, as if I was 13 and hadn't been having periods for 30 years. I went Today and I will not be back. Besides the front desk being super nice, the ultrasound tech was very unprofessional. Very rude. Very unkind. My daughter even said she was not nice to her mommy. My husband was left angry and upset as well. Very disappointed especially after hearing good stories.
