I was very stressed with a high blood pressure level. Providers were patient, supportive and kept me well informed. It was a very busy evening. I did not feel like a burden or another number.
I had a heart issue and they took it very seriously. In a very short time they had me in back and I was being swarmed by nurses doing what they do. All of them were incredibly nice and professional. The doctor was in as soon as had me all hooked up to ask questions and and order the tests he wanted. It turned out to not be serious and had me out and back home in under three hours. That hasn't been my experience at other hospital emergency rooms. Kudo's to IU, their staff, and facilities at IU North.
Worst experience ever, disrespectful nurse, no compassion from staff to help people in their worst pain.
The care we got in the emergency room at IU north was excellent. She has Alzheimer’s and the people understand the issues that accompany this disease. Hannah PA , Sam and Gina were very supportive and carrying for her!
Quick response. Low waiting times compared to other ERs. Friendly staff from reception to doctors.
