I've never had a worse doctors office, records experience. The doctor was nice but she never remembered us visit to visit. My husband was prescribed the same meds twice with two different doses. We're now a little over two months out from initially requesting a Dr to Dr referral to leave the IU and they're still dragging their feet. You'd think they'd be thrilled to get rid of us.
I waited 3 months for my appt. A week and a half before my appt they called and told me the Dr. wouldn't be in the office that day and scheduled me out an additional 7 weeks. Then the day before that appt, someone from the office called to tell me the Dr. had looked at my referral and said he wouldn't be able to help me. I tried for 4 months to get a neurology appointment scheduled (referred by my physician) and never got a phone call. I contacted them over half a dozen times, with no success. The last time I called they said they escalated my request and still no one has contacted me. This will be my first and last experience with IU health.
Poor customer service. My mom who is post stroke missed her appointment. The women who we talked to was rude, and dismissive of my concern for getting a new appointment, said she was trying to help, but couldn’t get her in until late April. Disappointed with the experience all around. Hire better people to do scheduling, that actually care about the patients and their individual needs!
Nasty attitude on the phone , I’m having problems with the VA and your staff wants to give me attitude because nobody gave me proper communication or notice about my upcoming appointment, you can take that attitude and put it where the sun doesn’t shine, my health is more important than your ego
