IU Hospital and its palatial facilities on every corner care nothing about the patient and are the antithesis of being proactive. A massive part of patient care should be cost management and assistance with insurance issues— ie if a procedure is insurance approved but the IU facility is not, IU should seamlessly handle this for the patient— in other words re-schedule at an approved facility or lower their IU costs accordingly and coordinate with the patient’s insurance company. The lab at the hospital really has the best staff. Rickelle is amazing. My blood draw was fast and painless!
Literally waited over 90 minutes for a blood draw. Couldn’t wait any longer and had to come back another day.
Efficient and kind
Kind and helpful. The number of patients per staff has certainly increased. Plus, there is the interesting mix of patients with appointments and those without; I have been both. In today’s challenging health care setting, I find the staff doing their best while remaining kind and helpful.
