I don’t recommend the ER unless you know you will die and don’t have to wait to be seen. A ER trip with a family member took 14 hours total, 6 hours wait before they seen a nurse and 10 hours wait before they seen a doctor. However, we were put in a fast track cubicle which is open and we listened to the nurses talk about each other for hours. So and So was having an attitude or ordering the wrong test, specifically a d dimer test, etc. It did pass the time and was as classy as a Jerry Springer episode.
Came to get my son IV fluids for his dehydration after vomiting for 4 days. His provider told me to bring him to the ED. Sat in the waiting room for 2 & 1/2 hours, then after being taken back to the room, sat for 1 & 1/2 hours without being seen by the MD. Our nurse was sitting at the desk laughing and not coming to check on us or update on how much longer it might be. I'm not a person to leave a bad review, but this was ridiculous.
Absolute shit show.
They locked up my homegirl. She did nothing wrong. She just a kid
