I have been waiting in the emergency room for nine hours, and individuals who arrived after me have already been seen and discharged. I have been placed in a hallway, and I am repeatedly informed that a physician will be arriving shortly. This situation is unacceptable. Finally, I was able to stop a doctor. He thought I was a family member of a patient waiting. Once he knew what was wrong, he jumped into action and started taking care of me.
Amazing care. We had a kid with extreme heatstroke and dehydration at a sleep-away summer camp. The girl was vomiting up any water given to her by counselors, could not string any words together, and was in unfathomable pain. The wait was five minutes before she was taken in. She was immediately hooked up to an IV and given painkillers before she fainted. She woke up a few hours later with a bad headache, but said she felt a lot better. Andrew changed the narrative for today’s visit for me I am very thankful this hospital has such a professional individual working under their roof.
The staff i encountered was probably the dumbest set of educated I've ever met. Doordash orders were prioritized before patients THEN heres the kicker...after waiting in the ER waiting room from 9pm until 3:30 am A patient who believed they had a broken finger had maybe been waiting an hour to be seen,was called back for treatment.......I went in for what could be sepsis and was left to cry on a couch for over 8 hours.
