Appalling. We were sent to Bloomington because Martinsville doesn’t have an ultrasound tech available after hours and a blood clot was suspected. We waited 2.5 hours. They took vitals, put in an iv start, and drew blood. We sat in the waiting room. Never saw a doctor. We eventually checked the portal and saw the lab result indicating a low probability of a blood clot. Decided to leave. I PROMISE you’d be better off driving an hour to another ER instead of going down the road to this joke of an ER. Horrible. I have nothing more to even explain. Choose anywhere else. I have no clue why I came back here again. I could’ve watched the Titanic 4 times before being seen.

If i was able to give negative stars i would. I was told if i ever lose bowl control to come to er due to my l4 and l5 compressing on my sciatic nerve. One night i arrived at 6:30pm and lets just say it had been over 6 hours amd when asking about updates "well we have people all over the county and we are very busy" mind you the 5 hour update we were told they were getting ready to discharge a bunch of people.

Went in for a very bad dog bite wound. Normally they don’t stitch those up however it was so bad I needed stitches. The PA took the stuff I had wrapped on it off took a look and said I needed stitches and that he was going to go order the numbing meds. He then left without wrapping it back up while it was still actively bleeding and dripping down my arm.
