Medical Malpractice and Negligence at IU Health – Terrible Experience with James Walker I had an extremely negative experience under the care of James Walker at IU Health. He RUINED therapy for me. Not only did my depression worsen, but my situation was further exacerbated by his negligence and lack of advocacy. James Walker kept me on medical leave for 7 months, despite the fact that it was literally his job to help me return to work. They are here to control you, not treat you. They view their clients as children. This organization is sick and there is no cure for a lack of empathy and understanding. You are better off driving to Indy for compassionate care.
I’ve been trying to get help for my seizures for 6 months now, and the ER hasn’t referred me to a neurologist once despite me having been there 20+ times. I was also assaulted a few times by staff, once during one of my seizures. He pressed his fist into my chest when I was seizing when I was already struggling to breathe. The hospital is thankfully doing something about it— but the other instances haven’t been taken care of. Never respond to messages. They make it very difficult to be seen by someone even with a doctor's referral. I've been trying for two months now. Will be looking elsewhere for treatment.
