Place we stayed was great. No complaints about that. However, in the hurry to get everybody out, my wallet was left behind. I had placed it in the night stand when I arrived and had not had it out. They were great about calling to let me know it was found and they would send it to me for the convenience fee of $50 + postage. Considering all my cards were in it, license, my car key and close to $200 in cash were in it that was fine. I paid a total of $85 to get it overnighted. I received my wallet 2 days later. We recently stayed and want to warn future guests and property owners about a few maintenance and upkeep issues. Most notable is a bat box installed roughly five feet from the swimming pool. While we recognize the ecological importance of bats for local pest control, having this habitat directly next to the main outdoor guest area created comfort and usability concerns. The rest of the property lacked proper upkeep; we observed pests, an unkept yard, and a pool cover with heavy mildew and webs.
We’ve been using iTRIP to manage our condo on Oak Island for several years now. They are so efficient, great at communicating and really take great care of our place. We've been with iTrip Oak Island for 3 years. They communicate very well and allow us to participate as well as make decisions regarding our STR beach property. However, when there is poor weather or emergencies, they are quick to respond and take care of our home. I can't recommend them enough and we're looking forward to our 4th summer with Itrip!
