After a bad experience with my last provider, I was really happy to learn about Jennifer's practice, and she has been great to work with in all respects. I appreciate her open-minded and holistic approach, and she has been an invaluable part of my care team as I've worked to understand and address several quality of life issues that I've long neglected. She has always taken care to consider my individual needs and preferences, and I've appreciated her patience and empathy along the way.
Jennifer is amazing at what she does. She listens and understands. She goes the extra mile make sure lab work is sent in and done timely. She also doesn't try to force you in prescribe medications rather She goes with what can be found over the counter. She checks in to make sure you're doing okay. Jennifer Schiavi, NP provides excellent care. She creates a safe, comfortable environment, either in person or remote based on patient needs/preferences. She offers treatment options based on patient desires, and creates a plan of care directly with the patient. I have felt very heard and understood as a patient of hers and would recommend her to anyone seeking ADHD diagnosis/treatment.
My now 17 yo daughter has been coming to Ithaca ADHD and seeing Nurse Jen Schiavi since 2023. Our pediatrician tried several prescriptions that caused major mood swings especially when coming on or off the meds. Jen started with DNA testing that showed which family of medications were most effective and was willing to not push stimulants.
