The only reason I am giving this physician one star is because she earned her medical credentials. Unfortunately, she does not reflect the standards and reputation associated with Emory. Her people skills are poor, her communication is lacking, and her bedside manner is even worse. I have personally witnessed her speaking harshly to elderly patients, which is unprofessional and disheartening. She should remember that one day she, too, will be elderly. Hello, Dr. Udosen lacks bedside manners. She has a cold and unpleasant energy. Not welcoming at all. She’s nonchalant and very condescending to her patients. She will talk to you like you are small. She has a serious attitude problem and she can’t hide it. She will have you questioning why she’s even practicing medicine. Bottom line I am fighting kidney disease most likely from the high dose of blood pressure and cholesterol meds. The cholesterol meds caused severe pain in my legs for 10 months until my pharmacist told me it was indeed the statins and I stopped taking them. She told me my kidneys were fine. I went to another primary care doctor who immediately told me about my kidneys from reading the same blood work that Itauma used. Itauma has not responded to my emails which is consistent with her don't care attitude.
I went here for a physical. I made the appointment the end of May over the phone. I arrive June 22 and the receptionist states, we don’t do that on the first visit. I’m not sure who booked that, but we tried calling but had the wrong number. The Dr likes to get to know the patient first. But truth be told , doctor just wants two visits out of you than just a one time physical. I get my blood pressure checked and my weight, leave and schedule another appointment.
