Clean well maintained campground. Full hook ups in Most sites. Tent area is now set up with designated spots with a parking pad and fire ring along with picnic tables. Lots of shade. Beautiful spot for being right on the edge of town with lots to do, eat and see in the area. Fishing, swimming, walking and biking all within a block.
We camped here for Riverfest, the music festival. We chose this campground because it was close to downtown and because it's right on the Mesabi bike trail. Not disappointed, in fact, it was prettier than the pictures would have you believe. Sites were all clean, grassy and well maintained. It's near a highway so it's loud if you're tent camping, but a pair of earplugs will fix that.
