Twin Cities chain serving pizza of the gooey, chewy variety. – In Short The wooden booths, courteous staff, old movie stills on the walls, and piping-hot, perfectly spiced pies provide a welcoming environment for couples, families and neighborhood regulars. The wine list features less than a dozen unremarkable whites and reds.
A good place that needs an update – Italian pie shoppe on Grand Avenue: This place is a cozy pizzeria, but it hasn't been remodeled for about 30 years. best pizza – I have been going to Italian Pie Shoppe for over 10 years and have never had anything but excellent food! They have the best sauce in town! I highly recommend!
A tight squeeze for 3... – ....into the wooden booth, but the food makes up for! The specials which include salad, bread, and pasta are excellent choices for the price. Baked mostaccioli with a meat ball was around $6 and you have leftovers. The Italian Fry Appetizer was good as well. Group had calzones and pizza - everyone enjoyed their food and I'm waiting to go back. We were there at 1:15, so they service and parking were fine.
Mistakes Corrected – We ordered, it took a long time, something weird with the order, but the pizza was good. The service was good, and they gave us our beer free because it took so long!
A great little restaurant – This is a typical small town pizzaria. The food was good, the service is excellent, they make you feel like family when eating there. Give it try, it's worth the effort.
yum! – i can't get enough of the thin crust pizza - perfection!
